Our History

Chris Fleming founded C. Fleming Development Ltd. with the vision of offering the finest quality in development and management of suburban shopping and business centres.

Using his 40+ years of experience in municipal planning, public policy and municipal development at city, provincial and national levels, Chris established a business model for the company that melded a corporate approach to financial security with the personal care of a family-run business.

With a focus on building properties with highest value in site location, physical layout, construction, tenant mix, parking configuration, and landscaping, C. Fleming Developments secured contracts for the most valued retail centres in the city’s fastest expanding communities of Kanata and Nepean. Take a look at our past projects.

Darren Fleming

CEO

Darren is an industry leader in the commercial real estate sector. For over 17 years, he has been providing expertise in the areas of workplace strategy and commercial real estate brokerage. He is proud to have stepped into his father’s shoes to effectively run C. Fleming Developments.

Darren has worked with some of Ottawa’s most active commercial design builders and major commercial real estate brokerages. With exceptional consulting and business strategy skills, he is an experienced leader and provides the best knowledge in human resources, commercial real estate and workplace solutions.

Michael Charto

Senior PROPERTY MANAGER

Michael started his property management career in 2006 managing residential, commercial, industrial and condominium properties. He has worked for major developers and landlords in the Ottawa area. Michael brings over 10 years of property management experience to Real Strategy Advisors and oversees the day to day management of the buildings. Fluently bilingual, Michael can provide services in both official languages and has a strong financial background. Michael’s previous work experience with tenant fit-ups, operational items as well as organizing capital work for landlords has given Real Strategy Advisors the opportunity to offer provide project management services for our clients, landlords and tenants.
